The arrest warrant for a man who escaped from a minimum security Halfway House in Manchester, New Hampshire, resulted in the arrest of three suspects who helped him stay hidden.

Police say David Ward, who is considered a danger to law enforcement and the general public, was actively assisted in his escape by 25-year-old Sarah Ward and 42-year-old Kathryn Ward, both of West Swanzey, New Hampshire. The suspects allegedly transported Ward from the residence in Manchester in the trunk of a vehicle. They are both being charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution.

A third suspect, 29-year-old Lee Bates of Keene, New Hampshire, faces the same charges for providing transportation to Ward. All three suspects were released on bail pending arraignment.

Ultimately, police say they found Ward at a residence in Vernon, Vermont. At the time of his arrest, he was armed with a hand gun that was reported stolen in Swanzey, New Hampshire. Ward is being held as a fugitive from justice until his transport to New Hampshire.
