2 Accused of Shooting at Cops; 3 Officers Hospitalized

Two people are incustory, including a teenager, are in custody after allegedly shooting at three Boston police officers, who were hospitalized as a precaution.

Around 10:20 Tuesday night police heard gunfire coming from Bowdoin Avenue in the city's Dorchester neighborhood.

Officers came across the suspects, who allegedly exchanged fire with the officers, then ran off.

Police say one adult and one teen were arrested at the scene. A third person was there, but was not arrested. Officers discovered two handguns at the scene at Bowdoin Avenue and Bullard Street.

Bosotn Police Commissioner William Evans said, "Neither the suspects nor the officers were hit but I think it goes to the dangers of our job out here on a nightly basis.

It's unclear when the suspects will be arraigned.
