3-Year-Old NH's Girl's Death Ruled a Homicide

Jayleah Bureau died back on March 15

The death of a 3-year-old New Hampshire girl back in March has been ruled a homicide.

On March 15, emergency medical personnel responded to a 911 call reporting a medical emergency at 43 Canton Circle in Concord. There, they found an unresponsive 3-year-old girl, later identified as Jayleah Bureau.

Jayleah was transported to Concord Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

An autopsy was performed the following day. Additional testing to determine the cause and manner of death was completed July 11 and the attorney general's office said it showed Jayleah was the victim of a homicide and the cause of her death was blunt force trauma.

The circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation. The attorney general has not announced any arrests.
