3rd Person Arrested in Connection With Murder of Maine Man

Tia Ludwick, 23, of Fitchburg, is facing a fugitive from justice charge

Maine State Police say a third person has been arrested in connection with the homicide earlier this month they now consider drug-related.

Tia Ludwick, 23, of Fitchburg, is facing a fugitive from justice charge. She was arrested in Fitchburg and will face murder and robbery charges when she is returned to Maine.

Two other individuals, 20-year-old Marcus Asante of Fitchburg and 27-year-old Darin Goulding, whose hometown was not immediately available, are also being held on fugitive from justice charges in connection with the murder of Douglas Morin, 31.

Morin's body was found inside his car along a remote road in Sherman on Oct. 16. A cause of death has not been released.

Asante was taken into custody on an unrelated charge in Fitchburg on Friday, while Goulding was arrested on Tuesday in Leominster. Both will face murder charges when they're extradited to Maine. It's unclear if any of the suspects have attorneys.
