Drugs Found in Buttocks, Bra; 4 Arrested

This is the result of a months-long investigation into the dealing of crack cocaine and heroin

Four people have been taken into custody following a months-long investigation into the dealing of crack cocaine and heroin.

The suspects were traveling from Massachusetts to Waterville, Maine, to distribute their illicit products.

Police in Waterville have seized nearly one ounce each of crack cocaine and heroin with a combined street value of more than $11,000. Approximately $1,600 in cash was also recovered.

Domingos Cabral, Jr., 26, of Boston, Massachusetts; Kevin R. Pires, 25, of Boston, Massachusetts; Hannah C. Maheu, 18, of Fairfield, Maine; and a Waterville resident who has not been identified have been arrested.

The investigation was complicated by the fact that Cabral and Pires frequently changed the residences from which they operated.

On June 11, police stopped a 2015 Chevrolet Impala with Massachusetts plates driven by Pires on Elm St. in Waterville. Pires, Cabral and Maheu were detained.

Pires and Cabral both had crack cocaine hidden in their buttocks. Maheu had marijuana hidden in her bra and heroin in her purse. The fourth female was later arrested.

This is an ongoing investigation.
