Five men are facing charges after they were accused of attacking a 17-year-old at Spaulding High School in Rochester, New Hampshire.
Police Capt. Gary Boudreau tells Foster's Daily Democrat an argument between several people at a Sept. 5 football game escalated. The teen interfered to try to diffuse the situation, but was kicked and punched in the head and face. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The five, who are from Rochester and range in age from 17 to 19, were recently indicted in Strafford County Superior Court on a riot charge. At least three of the suspects are not students.
Two were scheduled for arraignment Wednesday; it was not immediately known if they had lawyers.
