70-Year-Old Man Charged With Spitting at Man During Donald Trump Rally

Police in Rhode Island have charged a 70-year-old man with spitting at a videographer at a Donald Trump rally last month.

The Providence Journal reports (http://bit.ly/256xvRK ) that Edward Stevenson, of Cranston, was charged May 5 with simple assault and vandalism in the April 25 incident.

A police report says Stevenson was questioned by Rod Webber at the rally in Warwick for the GOP presidential front-runner. Webber is working on a documentary about Trump's movement.

It says Stevenson cursed at Webber and spat at him. Webber filed a complaint.

Warwick police are now searching for another man who allegedly grabbed one of Webber's cameras, threw it in the air several times and tossed it into a crowd behind him.

Webber said Friday that the $200 camera is "effectively broken."
