A N.H. Man is Dead After Motorcycle Accident

Matthew Cummins, 21, of Laconia, New Hampshire is dead after losing control of his motorcycle in an accident that took place Friday night in Laconia.

According to the Laconia Police Department, they responded to the 500 block of White Oaks Road just after 7 p.m. for a motorcycle accident.

Cummins was traveling southbound with another motorcyle rider, reportedly at a high rate of speed.

Cummins motorcycle left the paved part of the road, continuing on the shoulder area before laying down and sliding for several hundred feet and catapulting to its final resting point.

Cummins was thrown off the motorcycle.  He was pronounced dead on the scene with massive multi-system trauma.

Police report that speed was a contributing factor.
