"Let me just send a message to them. You're going to pay for what you do," New Orleans Police Chief Michael Harrison said. "There are consequences to your actions. And if crime is the life you choose, then I'm going to see to it that prison will be the price you pay."

The suspects allegedly beat and robbed the tourists, both from the Boston area, on Bienville Street Saturday night. They allegedly knocked the men down and took their wallets and cell phones.

The victims, James Curran and Tim Byrne, were sent to the hospital for their injuries. One of the victims is in critical condition. They are both from the Boston area.
