Police in Springfield have arrested a suspect in connection with the distribution of drugs across western Massachusetts.
After police observed Jose Barbot of Springfield allegedly make two drug transactions, they arrested him and his customers. Officers then recovered $15,354 in cash, 580 pills, and about 60 grams of crushed pills.
Barbot was charged with two counts distribution of a Class B drug and trafficking a Class A substance. He is being held pending his arraignment next week.
