Thursday afternoon, comedian and Newton, Massachusetts, native Amy Poehler will lead a parade through the streets of Cambridge after winning Harvard's “Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Award.”
The parade will get underway at 2:45 p.m., followed by a celebratory roast and an award presentation at 4.
The Hasty Pudding Award is given to a performer who has made a notable and lasting contribution to the world of entertainment.
Poehler will join an impressive list of women who have been handed a Pudding Pot, including Meryl Streep, Katherine Hepburn, Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Taylor, just to name a few.
