Police are investigating an armed robbery at a western Massachusetts drugstore.
Agawam police say a man armed with a handgun jumped the pharmacy counter at a Walgreens store at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, forced a worker to open a safe, and stole about 30 bottles of OxyContin, a narcotic pain reliever.
Employees say the suspect was a white or Hispanic male wearing a ski mask and hooded sweatshirt. Police are reviewing surveillance footage to try to identify the suspect, who may have fled in a red SUV.
No one was injured.
Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect.
