Armed Robberies Occur at Two Billerica, Massachusetts, Businesses

The robberies occurred Tuesday night

Police are searching for a man believed to have robbed two businesses Tuesday night in Billerica, Massachusetts.

According to the Lowell Sun, the man appeared to use the same knife to rob a liquor store and convenience store back to back.

The first robbery occurr ed around 9 p.m. at 129 Liquors, located at 252 Salem Route, near Route 129.

According to police-radio broadcasts, the man pulled out a large hunting knife.

Police responded to the liquor store while another robbery occurred at Jim's Quick Stop located at 502 Boston Road around 9:15 p.m.

The stores are about three miles apart.

Police said no one was injured in the robberies but a female clerk at the convenience store was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated because she was shaken by the robbery.
