Army Recruiter Arrested on Child Porn Charge

32-year-old Army Staff Sgt. Andrew Beezub of Keene, New Hampshire, was charged with child porn possession

An Army recruiter was arrested on child pornography charges in New Hampshire, police confirm.

Officers arrested Army Staff Sgt. Andrew Beezub, 32, of Keene on Tuesday after a two-month investigation, Keene police said.

Police say they were alerted to a Keene resident possessing child pornography by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in February.

Subpoenas were issued with the help of the New Hampshire Attorney General's office, which identified the account holder, later identified as Beezub, and his address on Homer Avenue.

A search warrant executed a week ago resulted in electronic devices being seized, and an arrest warrant was issued on Tuesday.

Beezub was released on $2,500 bail, after being charged with possession of child pornography, but with a number of bail conditions, including having no contact with anyone under the age of 18.

His arraignment is set for April 21. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Anyone with information about this case is asking to call Keene police at 603-357-9820 and to ask to speak with Detective Joel Chidester.
