Two Eden, Vermont, residents were arrested on multiple counts of animal cruelty Monday, according to police.
Carol Merchant, 58, and Russell Goodell, 50, were charged after their home was searched Feb. 25.
They were released on citations to appear in Lamoille Superior Court on April 22.
No further details have been released at this time.
