At least 17 sharks were spotted Thursday on a research trip by the Cape Cod-based Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.
Observers saw as many as 19 sharks off the Massachusetts coast. Sixteen of them were captured on camera.
Seven of the sharks had previously been seen last year or earlier this year. The rest were identified for the first time.
