Police are looking for a man they say tried to abduct a 9-year-old child by luring him with candy on Cape Cod Sunday.
Investigators say the incident took place in Dennis, Massachusetts, near the intersection of Dr. Bottero Road and Taunton Avenue.
The suspect stopped his vehicle, got out, grabbed the boy by the shoulder and asked him if he wanted some candy. The child and his friend were able to run away.
The man returned to his vehicle and fled the area.
The suspect is believed to be a man in his 40s who is balding with blondish hair. He is said to have a goatee and sideburns. He was also wearing clear glasses.
The man was driving a light gray or silver Land Rover.
