Officials are working to determine the cause of death for an infant in Bellows Falls, Vermont.
Police say Tammy Sears called 911 around midnight Saturday after coming home from work and noticing her 5-month-old daughter, Emily Branch, was unresponsive.
An ambulance and Bellows Falls Police responded to the Oak Street home. The child was taken to Springfield Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
According to police, the girl was at home with her father, Jonathan Branch, before Sears got home.
An autopsy is scheduled Monday.
