Death of Lobsterman Deemed Accidental

The Maine state medical examiner's officer is performing an autopsy on a lobsterman who was found dead in his driveway in an island town off of Portland.

The Maine state medical examiner's officer is performing an autopsy on a lobsterman who was found dead in his driveway in an island town off of Portland.

Maine police say 59-year-old Steven Michael Hanson was found in the Long Island driveway on Wednesday morning. His autopsy was performed on Thursday.

Police say his death was accidental and was likely cause by a head injury after taking a fall outside.

State police say two men found Hanson's body while they were walking. They have said Hanson's family has been notified about his death.
