Bank Robbed Twice in 1 Week in Winooski, Vermont

Sgt. Michael Cram says the suspect is in his early 20s and stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build

Police say a TD Bank branch in Winooski, Vermont, was held up by an armed robber demanding cash for the second time in a week.

The suspect, armed with a revolver, walked into the East Allen Street bank shortly after 2:30 p.m. Thursday and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Winooski officers responded after an employee activated the bank's panic alarm.

Sgt. Michael Cram says the suspect is in his early 20s and stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans, a black bandanna and black hat during the robbery.

Police say the suspect's description is similar to a masked man who robbed the bank on Aug. 19.
