Beautiful Monday Will Bring Another Taste of Fall

Skies will be sunny Monday as high temperatures range from the upper 60s to the low 70s

Away from the coast, Sunday started off rather cool in the 50s. Temperatures at the coast held in the low to mid 60s, but clouds quickly filled in after dawn with a few showers that moved in from the ocean. Inland locations quickly warmed into the 70s with sunshine. Even along the coast, clouds and showers cleared for some afternoon sunshine.

Monday is looking beautiful. We are expecting another taste of fall. Skies will be sunny as high temperatures range from the upper 60s to the low 70s.

Tuesday will equally as nice with temperatures about 5 to 10 degrees warmer.

Wednesday through Friday the warm up will continue. Temperatures will climb from the upper 70s into the low 80s as humidity levels increase slightly. A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

The holiday weekend starts to cool off. Saturday looks to be the beach day with sunshine and temperatures in the 80s. Showers will be possible by Labor Day.

Temperatures will stay in the mid 70s through midweek of the following week.

We are still watching an area of low pressure off of Florida which may develop into a tropical storm in the next couple of days. The system should stay off shore, but with astronomically high tide, building swell/surf and an onshore wind – we will see to watch the late week tides. There is also tropical storm Dorian, which is heading for the islands. This storm will likely intensify gradually into a hurricane by late week.

Stay tuned!
