    Bicyclist Involved in Fatal Crash

    A bicyclist is dead after colliding with a car in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to police.

    Around 11 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of an accident near Merrimack and Hanover Streets. A preliminary investigation reveals a BMW was traveling west when the accident occurred.

    The bicyclist, later identified as 83-year-old Eugene Letendre of Manchester, was taken to Elliot Hospital with serious injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after the crash.

    The person driving the car was not hurt.

    The crash remains under investigation.
