Bill Weld is reportedly changing his focus as the running mate on the Libertarian presidential ticket.
The Boston Globe says the former Republican Massachusetts governor plans to focus on defeating Donald Trump and aims to help rebuild the GOP.
Weld previously pledged to stay a Libertarian in the party's convention in May, according to the Globe.
He told the Globe that Trump's domestic and foreign policies are "hurtful."
