A body was recovered from the Merrimack River in Massachusetts, on Friday morning.
Lowell Police were alerted to a human body by the O'Donnell Bridge, at the Gatehouse.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed this report, and activated the Fire Department dive team. The body was recovered, and transported from the scene by the state medical examiner.
A positive identification is pending.
