Rhode Island State Police say they have identified the person whose body washed ashore at a state park Sunday.

The body of 33-year-old Warwick resident Patrick Carey washed ashore at Beavertail State Park in Jamestown around 1 p.m.

Park visitors reported the body to officials.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death, which does not appear to be suspicious, according to police.
