Emergency officials say divers pulled the body of a man from the Presumpscot River in Westbrook, Maine after hours of searching.
The Portland Press Herald reports the man was pulled from the river on Thursday around 1:10 p.m. Deputy Fire Chief Andy Turcotte says emergency workers received multiple calls starting at 9:05 a.m. reporting a man in the water near the Saccarappa Power Plant. Authorities have not identified the man.
Workers from 10 different agencies responded. The Maine Warden Service used a plan to scan the river and brought a specially trained dog out on the water via motor boat.
