Bomb Threat Reported at Plaistow, New Hampshire, Home Depot

The state police bomb squad is at the scene.

Police are at the scene of a reported bomb threat at the Home Depot on Route 125 in Plaistow, New Hampshire.

The threat was reported around 11:30 a.m. at the store, at 58 Plaistow Road, Plaistow Police said. A message had been posted in the men's public bathroom reporting that a bomb would go off on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Plaistow Police responded to the scene and evacuated all employees and customers at Home Depot and surrounding stores including Bed, Bath & Beyond and Sport Clips. The parking lot was cordoned off and the state police explosives and K-9 units were called in.

A search is currently being conducted, and a command center has been set up at Santander Bank. No injuries have been reported.

Police are asking people to stay away from the scene until 5 p.m. Tuesday.
