Well, that was an unfortunate typo.
The Boston Globe sent this tweet Friday afternoon:
Notice anything? That's an awful lot of leads for the feds to investifart. It wasn't long before Twitter was, well, blowing up with new investifarts.
Sure, the Globe could have deleted the tweet, ignored the chuckles and hoped for things to ... blow over. But instead of uncomfortably sitting there while everyone smelled it, knowing exactly who dealt it, the publication let an even louder one out and had a good laugh.
It's safe to assume "we does not delete" was an intentional gaffe - and even if it weren't, under these amazing, self-deprecating circumstances, we should just let it pass.
