Boston Marathon bombing survivor Rebekah Gregory has given birth to a daughter.

In a Facebook post, Gregory's mom wrote: "The Lord has once again blessed our family "exceedingly, abundantly, even more than we could ever ask or think."

The post went on to announce that Ryleigh Michelle was born on Monday, May 2.

The baby will spend the next several weeks in the NICU, as she arrived prematurely.

"No parent wants to see their child on a ventilator struggling for each day of life. Please covet us in your prayers as we go down this road so that we will have the strength to face what might lay ahead," posted Gregory.

On Saturday, the proud mom posted to Instagram about her wonderful Mother's Day gift.

Gregory was near the Boston Marathon finish line when a bomb went off on April 15, 2013. Her left leg was amputated after multiple surgeries.

Gregory also has a son named Noah.
