The Boston Police Department is seeking a suspect involved in an August 21, carjacking on Cumberland Street.
While attempting to park her car, authorities say a woman was approached by a man.
The man tried to force the woman inside of her car, but she was able to escape before the suspect stole the vehicle.
The vehicle was later discovered on Peterborough Street where it had been set on fire.
The incident took place at 9:30a.m.
Authorities released surveillance video and confirmed the man shown is the suspect.
Police say the suspect was last seen near Beacon Street and ask anyone with information to contact detectives at (617) 343-5619.
