Traffic is once again moving after a tractor-trailer crashed on the Bourne Rotary in Bourne, Massachusetts, spilling 5,000 gallons of fuel.

The tanker, which is on its side in the middle of the rotary, crashed at 11 Tuesday night. It was carrying 11,500 gallons of gasoline at the time.

Officials closed the rotary and the bridge for cleanup. Traffic is moving once again.

Crews laid fire suppressant foam as a precaution.

The driver, 47-year-old Thomas Medeiros, was initially trapped but was able to free himself. He was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but initial investigation shows the tanker did not turn into the rotary and instead crossed into the grass.
