A child was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after falling from a second story window in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Fire officials said the 2-year-old fell onto a concrete walkway from the window at 117 Marlboro St. at about 4:40 p.m.
The boy was holding a stuffed animal at the time of the fall and fire officials said it's possible that the toy helped reduce the impact.
Witnesses said they heard the boy screaming in pain as he was placed in a neck brace and rushed to an area hospital where he was said to have suffered minor injuries.
It's still unclear exactly how the boy fell, but police said he was under adult supervision.
