Authorities say a mechanical issue with the braking system caused an amusement ride accident at the Cornish Fair that injured two adults and an 8-year-old girl.
The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal says the brake did not hold during the loading process, causing the ride to move.
Two occupants in the car, a 28-year-old female and an 8-year old female from Canaan, New Hampshire, sustained minor injuries in a fall. A 23-year-old ride operator with Fanelli Amusement Company also sustained minor injuries.
Fanelli Amusement Company returned the ride to their maintenance company for examination and repairs.
