A 17-year-old boy is dead and Bridgeport police are looking for several people who shot at him.
Police responded to gunfire near Madison Avenue and Frank Street in Bridgeport at 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday and found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot several times.
An ambulance took him to St. Vincent's Hospital and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police have ruled his death a homicide.
Witnesses told police the victim was walking to the back of a house near the corner of Madison Avenue and Frank Street and several people shot at him.
Police have not released the victim's name.
