Bus Stopped in Madison as Police Help With Fatal Hit-and-Run Investigation

Connecticut state police are working with police in New York to determine whether a bus spotted in Madison overnight was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Queens on Thursday night.

A woman was struck and killed in a busy Queens intersection in Flushing around 8:30 p.m.  and police in New York asked nearby jurisdictions to be on the lookout.

Now the investigation has moved to Madison, where police are looking into whether the Skyliner bus stopped along the northbound side of Interstate 95 was involved. A sign on that bus said it was headed to the Foxwoods casino.

Connecticut state police were at the scene for hours with officials from New York.

The company that owns the bus said they are cooperating with the investigation and the bus is now in New York.

No additional information was immediately available.
