Candlelight Vigil Held in Memory of Murder Victim

Friends, loved ones, and well wishers gathered in Lowell to remember Nicole Gamache White

A candlelight vigil was held Monday, in the memory of Nicole Gamache White who was murdered in her Lowell, Massachusetts, home on Thursday.

The vigil was organized by the victim's cousin, Kelly Imbody. Friends, loved ones and well wishers gathered along the riverfront in Lowell, where White often visited to enjoy nature.

Authorities called off a manhunt for White's killer when the body of her former boyfriend, 44-year-old Ross Elliot, was found dead from an apparent suicide in the trunk of a car.

"We just want to remember her. And how happy she always was and she shared her happiness with the world," said Imbody.

Friends have set up a GoFundMe page for people who want to offer financial support to White's three children whom she leaves behind.
