Cat Rescued in Massachusetts Treated, to be Placed for Adoption

The cat had a dislocated jaw and several broken teeth

A 2-year-old cat rescued by a couple underwent surgery Thursday at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston.

A Maspee, Massachusetts, couple removed the cat from underneath of a shed on August 13 and brought to MSPCA Centerville. She had a dislocated jaw and several broken teeth. Her jaw was re-aligned and broken upper canines were removed.

The cat that MSPCA Cape Cod staff members called Coco Channel does not have a tag ID or microchip, and no one has claimed her so far. Coco will be placed for adoption, and anyone interested in adopting is asked to email MSPCA Cape Cod at capeadtions@mspca.org.
