Center Stage: Nantasket Beach Paragon Carousel

Don't let the latest snow flurries get you down - spring really is here with little blooms, and the Nantasket Beach Paragon Carousel is opening its doors for the season.

To kick off the carousel's 87th year, the town is hosting Easter fun all weekend long. Bring the kids to get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, and then on Sunday, have them run around for the annual Easter Egg Dash, where 2,000 eggs will be hidden around the grounds.

Dan Saint Germain brings the funny this weekend to Laugh Boston for six entertaining performances. Germain has appeared on "Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" and is currently developing his own show on Fox. Dubbed as one of Variety's "10 Comics to Watch," you definitely don't want to miss him. Tickets start at $20.

Lastly, go see the charming musical "Big Fish" this weekend at the Virginia Wimberly Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts. "Big Fish" centers around a traveling salesman who has larger-than-life stories of epic adventures. Performances run now through April 11. Tickets range from $25 to $65.
