Flights have been grounded in Chicago after a fire at a Federal Aviation Administration facility there and that is affecting flights at several New England airports.

Many flights to and from the Chicago area scheduled for Friday morning have been cancelled or delayed. Local airports affected include Logan Airport in Massachusetts, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire, Bradley International Airport in Connecticut, Green Airport in Rhode Island, Portland International Jetport in Maine and Burlington International Airport in Vermont.
