A little boy who was hit by a car in East Hartford on Sunday morning has died, according to police.
The boy, who was nearly 2 years old, was hit by a car the area of 125 Sawka Drive, near Ridgewood Drive, around 9 a.m. on Sunday, police said.
The driver stayed at the scene.
An ambulance transported the child to Hartford Hospital and he was pronounced dead at 9:34 a.m., police said.
Authorities are investigating.
