College Student Accused of Sexual Assault

Officials say the student is not facing any criminal charges and the victim doesn't want to pursue charges

A student at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, has been removed from the campus after being accused of sexually assaulting another student Monday night, according to police.

The Patriot Ledger reports the student, who has not been identified, assaulted a female student he knows inside a campus residence hall around 11:30 p.m.

Officials say the student is not facing any criminal charges and the victim doesn't want to pursue charges.

Police say the incident remains under investigation.
