College Student Arrested After Racist Graffiti Found

A student is under arrest and ordered to stay off campus after allegedly writing racist messages on dorm room doors

A University of Massachusetts Amherst student is under arrest and ordered to stay off campus after allegedly writing racist messages on dorm room doors.

Devin Ayres, 20, of North Andover, was arraigned Monday, accused of being involved in two graffiti incidents this month.

The graffiti found in the Southwest residential area of the campus called for killing blacks and Mexicans.

UMass Police are also investigating other similar incidents on campus.
