Cops: Guns, Uniforms Stolen From Trooper's Home

Maine State Police say handguns, uniforms and an ID card were stolen from a state police trooper's home in Standish last Friday.

According to necn affiliate WCSH, Trooper Joseph Bureau reported two handguns, three long-sleeved uniform shirts and his old police ID card and birth certificate were stolen.

The guns, an H&K 45-caliber and a Beretta 9mm, were Bureau's private guns and were not his state-issued weapons.

Police believed the burglary happened when Bureau was at work. They also believe his home was specifically targeted.

Police are looking for a woman who was in a dark-colored four-door sedan who was parked in a driveway of a neighbor of Bureau's around 9 p.m. one night last week.
