Crews Knock Down Early Morning Fire in Maine

Crews battled an early morning fire in Portland, Maine, Friday.

Affiliate WCSH reports the fire started in a building on Cumberland Avenue and Smith Street around 4:30 a.m.

Heavy smoke and flames were reported from the third floor, WCSH said.

The fire was knocked down in about 30 minutes, and investigators are looking into how it started.

No injuries were reported.
