Two young people had to be rescued from a river in Maine after they became stranded in the swift water, and crews used a drone in their effort to save them.
Two boys were using inner tubs on the Little Androscoggin River on Tuesday when they became stranded on a rock.
One of the boys had a life jacket, but the other did not, so rescuers used a drone to get a life jacket to the boy who didn't have one.
The water was so rough that rescuers had a hard time working their way to the boys.
Fire department officials tell affiliate WSCH6 the rescue went smoothly.
Both boys were brought back to the bank safely.
