Former Red Sox Pitcher Curt Schilling Fires Back After Offensive Twitter Posts

Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling is firing back at cyberbullies who posted offensive comments about his daughter on Twitter.

Schilling congratulated his daughter on Twitter last week after she was accepted into Salve Regina University. She will begin playing softball there next year.

Multiple people posted vulgar and sexually-explicit comments about his daughter.

Schilling wrote on his blog Sunday that the ignorance and lack of morals and integrity is astounding. He reposted Tweets and has identified some of the individuals responsible.

He says it's never OK for a man to talk about a woman like that, and it's time for it to stop.

Schilling's failed video game company received a $75 million state loan guarantee in Rhode Island. The company went bankrupt, leaving taxpayers on the hook.
