DA: Massachusetts Man Held Without Bail After Stabbing Officer in Face

A man who allegedly stabbed a Worcester, Massachusetts, police officer in the face has been order held without bail following his arraignment.

Patxie Delorbe, 30, of Worcester, pleaded not guilty to multiple charges on Monday, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.'s office.

Authorities said police were called to a home on Grand Street Sunday morning where Delorbe was combative and threatening his ex-girlfriend. During an altercation with officers, Delorbe was tased and one officer was slashed in the face with a steak knife.

Delorbe is charged with violating an abuse-prevention order, resisting arrest, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to murder. He will return to Central District Court next week for a dangerousness hearing.
