DCR Ranger's Vehicle Struck in Quincy, Massachusetts

A Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation vehicle was struck Sunday afternoon in Quincy by a driver who had a medical emergency.

Quincy Fire officials initially told necn that a ranger had been struck in a hit-and-run - the DCR has confirmed that it was a crash with the vehicle. Furthermore, Massachusetts State Police confirmed that the incident was not a hit-and-run - a 55-year-old Medford man suffered a medical emergency and hit the ranger's vehicle's mirror.

The crash took place at the intersection of Quincy Shore Drive and Rice Road.
