Police in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, are investigating after a diner was robbed at gunpoint Thursday morning.

Police responded to the Hole in 100 Diner on Frost road at 7:05 a.m.

The diner was robbed by a white male, 6’, wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Witnesses say the suspect pointed a black handgun at an employee and demanded money. He made off with an undisclosed amount of money and lottery tickets.

Tyngsborough High School and the middle school were placed in lockdown as a precautionary measure.
