Double Stabbing Under Investigation

A 38-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries, but he and the other victim are expected to survive after being stabbed in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Police are investigating after two people were stabbed on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, early Saturday morning.

A 38-year-old man suffered a life-threatening wound to the stomach during a fight outside 7 Nana Japanese Steakhouse, police say. The other victim was stabbed in the armpit.

Both victims were taken to a hospital. They are expected to survive.

Worcester Police believe a suspect began fighting the victims in the restaurant's bathroom for throwing a barstool at them. The stabbing took place after the restaurant's manager made the three people leave the building.
